BLAST Premier Fall Series: Astralis vs. MIBR

Astralis -1.5 (1.23)

Astralis are coming in as a massive favorite in this matchup against an MIBR team that is playing with v$m, leo_drk and LUCAS1 as stand-ins. Anything but an Astralis win would be an upset of epic proportions and they really should sweep this series without much of an issue. I wouldn’t be shocked if MIBR were to string some rounds together on a map like Dust2, making the round handicap at least worth considering, but Astralis should come out on top in the end.

BLAST Premier Fall Series: G2 vs. FURIA

FURIA (1.69)

NiKo will make his highly anticipated debut for G2 in this match against FURIA. It should be an interesting one, especially when you consider the fact that Vertigo could be played, a map that NiKo barely played during his time on FaZe. The last time these two sides met in a BO3 was a year ago, with FURIA coming out on top with the 2-0 sweep. While a year is an eternity in CS:GO, not much has changed in terms of the map pools and I think that we could see the veto play out in similar fashion, with G2 banning Inferno to set up for Mirage and Vertigo. However, with NiKo being inexperienced on Vertigo, it wouldn’t be surprising if G2 picked a map like Nuke instead. Regardless, this should be an epic matchup. One that I would slightly edge in favour of FURIA due to NiKo’s inexperience on Vertigo.
