Astralis have announced the signing of former MAD Lions player Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen, who joins the Danish team on a two-year contract. Leaving the team is Jakob “JUGi” Hansen, who joined the team in May following the announcement that Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth and Lukas “gla1ve” Rosander would take a leave of absence.

About Bubzkji

Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen made a name for himself internationally playing for Fragsters, a team that included other now-familiar names such as Ismail “refrezh” Ali and Martin “stavn” Lund. He later went on to join Tricked, the team now known as MAD Lions, where he has established himself as one of Europe’s best riflers. MAD Lions went on to win the first edition of FLASHPOINT, taking down teams such as MIBR and Cloud9, with Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen finishing the event as the team’s highest-rated player. (1.22)

The players and coach are currently on a break and will begin preparation for ESL One: Cologne with an off-site boot camp on Monday, August 3.

  • 🇩🇰 Emil “Magisk” Reif
  • 🇩🇰 Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen
  • 🇩🇰 Patrick “es3tag” Hansen
